We know that choosing a florist for your wedding is a deeply personal decision; you want someone whose aesthetic you love, who understands your vision, and feels like a natural extension of your day. April & Fritz offers full-service wedding florals for celebrations across Melbourne and Victoria, from bouquets and personal flowers through to ceremony pieces, reception tables and large-scale installations.
Our role is part creative direction, part translation. You bring the references, colours, venue and things you keep coming back to; we shape them into a floral direction that feels cohesive, considered and entirely your own. We think about how the ceremony leads into dinner, where the eye lands, how colour travels through a room and how each floral moment relates to the next. The result is not a collection of separate arrangements, but a connected floral concept that moves naturally from one part of the day to the next.

Our calendar opens for reservations up to 12 months in advance. We recommend reaching out anywhere between 6-12 months in advance.
We have limited availability throughout the year as we only take on one wedding per day as we’re fully dedicated to our couples and focused on creating your perfect day.

Every wedding will be different.
Based on our experience, we recommend setting aside 10-15% of your overall allocation for your big day.
However, if you wish for florals to be a significant and memorable part of your event, we suggest allocating 25-30% to make an impact.

Please note we have a minimum spend of $5,000 for weddings.

Floral arrangements are generally flexible and movable, unless they are securely attached to existing structures (such as an arbour).
However, it's important to consider how the weather may affect the longevity of your flowers.
For example, if it is a very hot and windy day, they may not be as fresh for your reception so you may want to opt for seperate arrangements for your reception space.
Please note that we do not provide disassembly and redesign services for arrangements; if repurposing is required, they will need to be moved as a whole.

We know that your vision will likely evolve over time and as your wedding approaches, your thoughts and inspirations change. This is entirely welcomed.
Four weeks before your wedding, we have a final consultation to fine-tune and confirm all the specific aspects, after which your floral design is set.

Yes, we love creating cohesive spaces. We can help with candles, candle holders and glass sleeves*.
Just let us know on your enquiry form that you'd like to discuss styling options along with your flowers.
*Please note most venues require glass sleeves as candles are a fire hazard.
