a deep-rooted passion
April & Fritz’s owner, Bree, has vivid childhood memories of spending time on her grandparents’ property - some of the happiest times of her life, and where her love for flowers & nature began. She remembers time spent climbing trees, playing with the dogs and chickens, and exploring their plant-filled garden and nursery. The home was a gathering place where the family would come together to celebrate life’s moments; big and small.
the birth of a brand
After working at a global technology company for 5 years (with a side hobby of floristry beginning to bloom), Bree was made suddenly redundant. She decided to see this as an opportunity to follow her dreams and start her own floral design business. As she sat down to start planning, she came back to one question: ‘why am I passionate about this?’. Her memories brought her back to her grandparents’ property; the flower gardens; and the time spent with family. Bree looked through old photo albums, reliving the memories, and came across a photo of her and her brother in their grandparents’ garden with their two dogs - April & Fritz. And just like that, the brand was born.

This is our opportunity to really unearth the essence of you and your event.

After our call, we immerse ourselves in researching, creating, and designing your perfect florals. Our collaborative process ensures that every detail is thoughtfully considered, resulting in a stunning and distinctive floral design. We'll create a personalised proposal that encompasses a custom colour palette, mood board, design layout, and seasonal flower suggestions. This comprehensive proposal, along with a detailed quote and contract, officially initiates your journey with us.

Once the vision has been approved, all that's left to do is create your design. Four weeks before your event, we catch up again to reconfirm the design details and place your flower order. And on your special day, we'll be on-site turning your floral dreams into a beautiful reality!

INTEGRITY
Bree is a Sustainable Floristry Network member florist and we are a floristry studio dedicated to integrating sustainable practices into every aspect of our work. Meaning that we support the environmental, social and economic requirements of present and future generations - We do not use single-use plastics where possible, have a strict no floral foam policy and do not use imported flowers unless absolutely necessary to reduce our carbon footprint.
INTENTION
We believe in understanding our clients deeply so we can design with purpose. Our signature design process help us tailor our services to each customer's style and desires. Just as every event is unique, we believe every design should be unique, too.
