The Story OF US
a deep-rooted passion
April & Fritz’s owner, Bree, has vivid childhood memories of spending time on her grandparents’ property - some of the happiest times of her life, and where her love for flowers & nature began. She remembers time spent climbing trees, playing with the dogs and chickens, and exploring their plant-filled garden and nursery. The home was a gathering place where the family would come together to celebrate life’s moments; big and small.
the birth of a brand
After working at a global technology company for 5 years (with a side hobby of floristry beginning to bloom), Bree was made suddenly redundant. She decided to see this as an opportunity to follow her dreams and start her own floral design business. As she sat down to start planning, she came back to one question: ‘why am I passionate about this?’. Her memories brought her back to her grandparents’ property; the flower gardens; and the time spent with family. Bree looked through old photo albums, reliving the memories, and came across a photo of her and her brother in their grandparents’ garden with their two dogs - April & Fritz. And just like that, the brand was born.

BREE IS A
SUSTAINABLE FLORISTRY NETWORK MEMBER FLORIST
We are a sustainable floristry studio, meaning we support the environmental, social and economic requirements of present and future generations. We do not use single-use plastics where possible, we have a strict no floral foam policy and we do not use imported flowers unless absolutely necessary to reduce our carbon footprint.
our signature process

It all starts with ‘hello’ - once you’ve sent through an enquiry form and given us the rundown on your event, we’ll tee up a time for an introductory chat. Here, we’ll talk about your event in more detail, discuss your vision, and touch on flower availability. We’ll then come back to you with a quote, moodboard and proposal. Once this is finalised, you’re all booked in and ready for your April & Fritz florals!

8 weeks before your event, we’ll jump on another call to go back over everything together. Don’t worry - you can still contact us before then with any questions or queries. We’ll finalise and confirm our moodboard, vision, flowers and the quote. After this call, we’ll place your flower order.

It’s time for the big day! We’ll be on-site bringing your vision to life and installing your beautiful floral arrangements. This is the most exciting part - seeing it all come together, and being able to enjoy your event with your loved ones, guests or coworkers.
